Friendship at work
That life and people are not scripted, being flexible adds to the moment of connection.
Like many of you I receive emails that say “pass this onto a friend and good things will happen to you in the next hour” and like many of you I often think that I have a greater chance of a bus falling from the sky.
Either way I’d like to share an email sent to me last month by a dear friend for national friendship week. Some people may think this is rubbish and some will connect to this like I did. This is what the email said in part….
I've learned....
That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
That love, not time, heals all wounds.
That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.
That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.
That life is tough, but I'm tougher.
That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.
Last month I also attended a personal development program that reinforced for me….
That life and people are not scripted, being flexible adds to the moment of connection. |
Personally Speaking
I know that sitting down at work and watching a
20-minute TV show can be difficult. So we have produced a taste of my on line talk show
Sam’s Table. It’s a 3-minute highlights package of both shows one and two.
This show is starting to take on a life of its own. Many people have been asking for video copies. So we have now produced them and they are available at the online store.
The world is a big place, until next month, take care and enjoy it all.
Kind regards
Sam |
