Is Up-Front Training the Only-Solution?
Good training companies receive calls each month from organisations requesting training for their people.
Now this is great for business but is up-front training always the only solution?
We’ll the answer is no. Training today is much bigger than delivering up front programs and then ‘hey presto’ it’s done.
It’s about results for the organisation and there are many ways other than attending a training day to achieve these.
When you seek a training company to deliver for you the first question on your tongue must include ‘How will this achieve our outcome or results’?
If you are talking to any other training provider or us about people development then variety is the spice of life and people development is no exception.
This variety needs to include workplace integration of learning. This may include workplace assignments, small to large projects, presentations to senior management, one on one development or internal process enhancements.
All of these processes enhance traditional training attendance, integrate learnings and above all get the results you need in the workplace.

Supporting Camp Quality in 2000
This year Happening People have chosen to support a non-profit organisation, Camp Quality, by donating 1% of our net profit this year. We believe this contribution will assist Camp Quality with achieving their two main goals.
1. Continue to allow a child with cancer to be a child again by providing exciting activities to look forward to which will give the children the courage to battle on through treatment.
2. To give the families of children with cancer a much needed break, because the impact of diagnosis and treatment places tremendous stress on parents and siblings.
When you use our services this year 1% of our profit will be accounted for. We will present this cheque in December.
Personally Speaking
Well, this month we said a sad goodbye to Kaylene who started working with us in January 1999. She asked me to say good bye to you all and we wish her every success.
As the demand for our services grow so do we so you will be seeing a couple of new faces and hearing more new voices this year to support the work that we are doing.
Kind regards,
Sam Day
