Motivate People for Action
I was reading a article in an addition of TELCALL which is the official publication of the Australian Telemarketing and Call Centre Association.
The article gives an overview of the ‘rules’ to motivating your people. They are useful for sales people, and customer service people and can be applied to any industry.
Rule 1 – Link motivation to individuals needs. If there’s no need than there’s no motivation. A similar concept used for customers.
Rule 2 – Involve the team in decisions with regard to motivational programs. In other words get their buy in.
Rule 3 – Separate out the motivational budget. Often if it isn’t budgeted for it doesn’t happen.
Rule 4 – Offer a balance to employees. This includes training and development, recognition, incentives and fun.
This isn’t rocket science, but its valuable to achieving organisational performance measures.
If you are designing a strategy involving any of these, feel free to call we would be happy to comment or help out.

Personal Genius
Our Professional Development Tools include books and tapes on a range of topics which people use in there own time at home when they have an opportunity.
We offer these in addition to our corporate and public training programs.
Personal Genius is the name of one tape and although the name is a little ‘out there’ the tape is great.
It taps into the brain’s capacity to learn.
This tape allows your imagination and powerful inner resources to draw on and build your knowledge.
It is a valuable tool to use before studying, learning, writing and problem solving.
If you would like to know more about this one for yourself or your people, please call us.
