Samuel Day – Leadership, Management and Sales Specialist
Samuel Day is the founder and Managing Director of Happening People (1996). He has consulted with thousands of people in large organisations for more than twenty years. His wide industry experience includes; banking, telecommunications, insurance, pharmaceuticals, retail, media, publishing, HR, professional services, travel, heath care, events management and the public sector.
Samuel remains at the forefront of business having recently completed a Master’s Degree in business administration (MBA). Sam is a practitioner is accredited in psychological testing - Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DiSC behavioural profiling and Leadership Styles Inventory (LSI). He holds Certificate IV in training and development endorsed by VETAB (Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board) and has a Masters of Executive Coaching. All this combined with professional development with The University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Southern Cross University (SCU), University of Oxford, Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and The University of Sydney gives Sam excellent capabilities to make his consulting effective and to manage a dynamic company.
Sam has appeared on Channel 7, The Morning Show, as a Workplace Expert. He has been sought for comment by the Sydney Morning Herald (Sydney – discussing Mentoring), The Herald Sun (Melbourne – discussing Sales), Courier Mail (Brisbane – Workplace Cultures), and published in Training Today (AITD - trade journal – Aligning Values to Organisational Results). His motivational book of quotes Motivate Move and Make It was released in March 2001.
He has made guest appearances on radio 2GB (discussing Effective Customer Service, Workplace Behaviours), Bnet (CBS America), NewsTalkZB (NZ radio), 4KQ and 88FM Bondi Beach (discussing various Organisational Cultural Issues, the Workplace, Politics and Life).
